In my role as Staff Co-ordinator for Women in Power, I would like to thank you for the catering you provided during our four day programme. Catering for 50 women, some of whom had very particular dietary requirements, in a very basic kitchen you had never seen, required skill, patience, ingenuity and flexibility. You handled it masterfully - thank you! The fresh and organic food was appreciated and the dishes you produced were tasty and interesting, culminating in a three-course feast that was nothing short of magnificent.
In addition to the actual catering, you coped with a stream of volunteers, some more useful than others, with grace and humour. Our event was about personal development and you showed a respect for the work we were doing which was much appreciated. We will certainly be calling on you again and I will be glad to recommend you to anyone wanting catering of quality produced by someone who not only knows her onions but has respect for the people she is catering for.

We would like to express our thanks and delight at the fantastic cake you made us for our wedding in September 2006. It was a 3-tier, chocolate extravaganza, with intricate chocolate leaves and patterns on all layers. Not only did the finished cake look absolutely amazing, but it was delicious as well. Full marks on both fronts.
We managed to eek it out to feed every one of the 80 or so guests, who formed a huge queue in front of the cake table. It must have taken us a good half hour to get through them all, but luckily we had secreted a couple of slices away for ourselves.
I would thoroughly recommend your services to anyone else. It certainly added that extra something special to our special day. The real ‘icing on the cake’ you might say!

I contacted Meg Gritten just over two weeks before having a joint party for my cousin Jasset Ormsby Gore’s 21st and my 40th this August. We discussed our needs to which she immediately understood and came back to me two days later with a comprehensive quote for a tea party for 60 then a dinner for 250 on Saturday night, a breakfast then a buffet lunch on the Sunday for 100. As well as catering for the party she also agreed to organise staff to manage the bar and help with serving the food.
I found Meg extremely organised and efficient, easy to deal with, timely with any requests and for me, importantly, thinks of the small details without worrying the client. In addition, Meg’s team are hard working, courteous, fun, bright, very helpful and a credit to a well run team.
The food I can say without any reservations is outstanding. For me the basis of all good cooking is great seasonal ingredients, simply and thoughtfully prepared to complement each other. Meg and her team do this at an extremely high level. In addition she created some of the best cakes and Ice creams I have ever eaten. I wanted to have a Bara Brith, Jasset a Victoria Sponge, both were exceptional they also prepared non-lactose ice-creams and cakes for my daughter that met with high approval.
Every single person who came to the party all commented on the excellence of the food and a number of my friends in London have asked me if they think Meg and her team may come to London to do parties there.
I would highly recommend Meg Gritten and her team for any event, they are pleasure to work with and highly skilled.

Dear Meg,
I wanted to write to you to thank you and your family for making Jasset and my party such a fantastic and memorable experience for us, and all our guests. When my mind goes to it the first thing I think of is that sublimely delicious coconut and Malibu ice cream then it wanders across the amazing feast you prepared for our hundreds of guests. Another memory is seeing my friend Meirion with a plate stacked to about 8” high with food. I asked him later on that night if he finished he said not only did he finish, he went and had good seconds.
I think the most important part of organising any party is having trust in those people supplying each element of the event. What I got from you from our first conversation was your understanding of our needs combined with a very strong sense of your passion for your food. From that conversation on I had total confidence in your abilities to deliver, what I was unprepared for was there sheer quality of your food, and from me who is quite a foody, and have been involved in a number of restaurants, I was very happily surprised. It would say it the best food I have had in Britain this year and without doubt the best food I have ever had at any party anywhere. Every single person who has thanked me for the party the first thing they mention is how fabulous the food was and then describe a salad or one of the 7 ice creams I did not eat which only makes me what to have a another party to try some of the others.
As well as the food you made I must say a huge thank you to your team who ran the bar especially Nev, helped with the music, and generally contributed to the smooth running of a great night. It could be said without them it would not have been so smooth. What I so admired was the helpfulness, efficiency and professionalism of you all.
